About Us

This is what I believe about beauty, and the object follows. My work follows a standard, and everything i make is held to it. Not a category, not a signature aesthetic, not an occasion – whether it's a cotton you'll wear on a slow Sunday or a piece that will live in tissue paper and be brought out for decades. The garment shapes the occasion, not the other way round. I work only with Indian handloom. I have never used a synthetic fabric. Not because it's a rule I follow, because it's a consequence of how I think. When the foundation is strong, you don't reach for shortcuts. Most people who find my work find it through someone who already owns it. The market finds me.
